This release contains the following breaking changes:
- The data cache API destroy() has been renamed to clear().
- The data cache onprefetch event has been replaced by the onidle event that will fire whenever the cache is not performing any operations.
- The Indexed DB as a storage mechanism is no longer the mechanism of choice in Firefox 4 and it will be have to be requested explicitly when creating both cache and store objects. DOM storage is now considered the mechanism of choice in all browsers that support it.
Also this release adds to the library support for basic authentication by setting username and password in the requests. Support for configuring and controlling cache sizes as well as user defined cache data sources. It also adds filtering forward/backwards to cache objects and support for using RxJs
. Finally, JSONP options can now be set on a per-request basis.
